San Engineering performed structural engineering for the extension of an existing box culvert in the community of Roxborough Park in the Douglas County foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
The extension of the structure was designed to accommodate 70,000-lb firefighting vehicles. New bridge rails were designed for the widened structure. San Engineering’s scope of work included coordination with Douglas County, the local fire department, and the property owner.
