San Engineering performed civil and structural engineering for Phase III of the Plum Creek Trail development for the Town of Castle Rock.
The project included an evaluation of “bridge versus box culvert” for a crossing of Sellars Gulch, east of the confluence with East Plum Creek. The project also included the design of over 20 retaining walls. The wall types varied depending on location and application. Retaining walls included Mechanically-Stabilized Earth (MSE) as well as cast-in-place concrete.
